2027-2028 Silver Wings Team Tryout Information

Our mandatory tryout parent and student information meeting will be held Wednesday, February 17th, 2027 at 6:00pm in the H9 Cafeteria.

Tryout paperwork is due by 4:15pm on Wednesday, March 3rd to the Hebron High School main campus front office.

Team tryout material will be taught at our tryout clinics on March 22, 23, and 24 from 4:45-6:45pm.

Tryouts will be held on Thursday, March 25th at 5:00pm.

Technical Skills that have been featured in previous tryout routines include:

• Battements
• Calypso 
• High kicks in a kick line– exercise, fan, jump, straight
• Leg hold/extension
• Jete developpe
• Two to four eight-counts of improvisation
• Pirouette en dedans (inside) – double
• Pirouette en dehors (outside) – double/triple
• Quick, precise movements
• Right and left splits from a standing or kneeling position
• Russian (leap in second) – moving sideways
• Soutenu turn
• Press leap
• Surprise/corner leap
• Tilt kick
• Tilt jump
• Tour en l’air
• Two chaine’ turns (one on releve’, one in plie’) moving forward to a leap in second (also known as a disc)
• Switch arabesque
• Switch tilt
• Turns in second

If the Candidate wishes to review feedback notes from the judges, they must personally email Ms. Cothrun within one week of when results are posted. Requests for feedback that are received after one week will not be accepted. Requests from parents/guardians for feedback will not be accepted. All tryout results are final.
